St Joseph’s College Teaching School is registered with the National College for Teaching and Leadership as an Appropriate Body for NQT Induction.
Appropriate Bodies have the main quality assurance role in the induction process. Our role includes offering support and guidance to NQTs and their Induction Tutors, as well as dealing with issues, queries and concerns which may arise. We are registered with the Teacher Regulation Agency as an NQT Appropriate Body for NQT Induction, and as part of our role in the NQT process, we monitor termly assessment forms, confirm the final assessment decision, and register NQTs on the TRL database.
